The unlicensed solar power plant located in Karaçam, Soma district, Manisa province, with an installed capacity of 3.96 MWe, was commissioned for commercial operation on February 2, 2018.
Since 2018, electricity generated at the facility has been sold under the Renewable Energy Support Mechanism (YEKDEM) at a fixed feed-in tariff of USD 133 per MWh, for a 10-year period.
